The 11th Senior Housing Facilities Summit is organized by the Boston Real Estate Times, which has hosted the summit for 11 years. Mr. Gordon has been a key speaker at many previous Senior Living Summits.
The September 16 summit will be held virtually due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19. The event starts on Zoom at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m.>

Mr. Gordon is responsible for all market research related functions at EPOCH, including property / site selection analysis and market feasibility. He has a leadership role in identifying and evaluating markets and locations for new developments and potential acquisition opportunities. In addition, his tasks include carrying out a due diligence for a profitability audit in connection with acquisition and development opportunities. This includes market demand analysis, financial models and valuations. Mr. Gordon has over 25 years of experience in the senior housing and post-acute care industries.
Mr. Gordon joined EPOCH in 1998 as Director of Reimbursement. In 2002 he was promoted to vice president of planning and development and was responsible for the company’s acquisition and development efforts under the supervision of the company’s president and CEO. Subsequently, Mr. Gordon was promoted to SVP of Acquisitions and Development in January 2020.
Prior to joining EPOCH in 1998, Mr. Gordon was Director of Reimbursement at Prism Health Group, a long-term care company specializing in rehabilitation, nursing home management and home care. He holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Bryant College.
The summit will focus on challenges and opportunities facing the senior and assisted living industry in the current pandemic, including rising healthcare costs, an aging population, increased longevity and the demand for senior living facilities.
